November 4, 2021. Making this Home, once a personal blog by Katie Clemons, has been acquired by April and Dan Belanger, a husband and wife team with a mission: to help you turn your ideas into the home of your dreams.
Whether you’re focusing on a simple home improvement project, a home renovation, or are designing and building a full custom home, they want to help you stay on track, on budget, and on point to create the space you’re dreaming of.
“We have so many exciting plans for Making this Home. We want to not only offer helpful and expert information about home design and building, but we also want to take you on a journey with us as we design and build our own dream home in 2023,” explained April Duffy, the Managing Director of Making this Home.
The acquisition of makingthishome.com, a personal website focused on home improvement and betterment, fits into the couples strategy to build the Making this Home brand to be relatable and yet distinctive.
“We have so much experience in home building and renovation. Through my 20 years as an electrician, sure, but also from our own personal and side projects. We’re constantly helping our own family and friends with their projects, it just makes sense to find a place to share what we do and know with everyone,” said Dan Belanger, the Managing Editor of Making this Home.
